Why sponsor us?

A trip of such magnitude across Africa should not be taken lightly as it’s fraught with danger and many unknowns making the journey a challenge itself, but add to that the four dimensions of the challenges and you’ve got yourself an extremely difficult adventure; something few people would even contemplate, let alone take on.

As a potential supporter of our project we’d of course like to offer to as much as we can in return for your generosity. The extensive media coverage the expedition will generate will reach a crescendo towards the departure date at the end of the year and again on our return at the end of 2008, between these dates our key media outlet will be the website we’ll be updating as much as we can whilst on the road for all to see.

• Placement of your company’s logo on the expedition vehicle and Afritrex clothing which will feature heavily throughout the media leading up to our departure and throughout the journey, ensuring full exposure through all publicity materials and documentation

  We can set up interesting photo opportunities such as:
  
• The two of us wearing your logo-emblazoned clothing at the end of a race or atop a summit, toasting success!
  
• Your company logo on a large flag can be filmed and photographed fluttering at the summit.
  
• Photographs and video will be taken of the team, tents and equipment at various stages of the expedition with your logo prominently shown.
  
• Any other photographs or filming as requested by you or your PR department, possible including company products or tailored to your company message/philosophy with copyright-free imagery to be used without limitation.

We are in talks with a number of production companies about producing a documentary covering the planning/training, the fundraising challenges, and ultimately the expedition itself.
