IT'S THE FINAL COUNTDOWN....
We've made it into the final week of the countdown with relatively little in the way of panic setting in just yet....but there are still 5 days to go until we're off!
To update you all on the situation:
- Sponsorship money continues to come in from all angles and walks of life; The Liss Royal Naval Ass. have kindly offered to donate a sum of money for every VC site we manage to get to, which should be around 70.
- Vango, Asics and Leatherman have all decided to very kindly sponsor us with the equipment we'll be needing to make the trip a whole lot easier!
- The Colonel is being constantly worked on and fine tuned by Duncan Southall to ensure its ready for the big off in four days time; new features include a rear shelf, deadlocks on all doors and security window film fitted to all windows, just in case!
Our final day in the UK will be Friday 28th December as our ferry sailing to France departs at 23.45hrs from Portsmouth.....FINALLY THE BIG DAY IS HERE!
We will be keeping this website much more up to date once we head off onto the road in just under a weeks time with bi-weekly updates of the diaries, route and photos.
